Nikki Reed

 Nicole Houston Reed (born May 17th, 1988) is an American actress best known for her portrayal of vampire Rosalie Hale in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). Her fame was first noticed in 2003 following the release of the film Thirteen, produced by Catherine Hardwicke for which she was credited with Hardwicke as a co-writer of the screenplay, and where she played an important role. The film earned Reed an Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance along with several nominations.Nicole Houston Reed was born in West Los Angeles, California she was the daughter of Cheryl Houston, a beautician and Seth Reed, a production designer. She is half-sister to Nathan August Reed and Joey Reed. Her mother is of mixed Italian and Christian heritage. Her father is Jewish. She was not raised in a religious home and is ascribed as Jewish.She grew up around some Jewish rituals, since her brother also had an Bar Mitzvah.
