Lisa Salters

 Salters started her career as a journalist for broadcast before she became a sportscaster. Salters was the ABC affiliate's first West Coast correspondent in 1995. She reported on a variety of important stories, including the O.J. She also covered the Simpson civil and criminal trial, Oklahoma City bombing trials and also the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. In the year 2000, ESPN reached out to her regarding an assignment to general. She made the decision to shift into sports journalism after joining ESPN in March of 2000 as a general assignment reporter. Salters is the co-producer and sideline reporter for Monday Night Football, and she is the primary reporter for ESPN's sidelines on the NBA. Salters is also a regular on ESPN's newsmagazine, E:60. The show debuted in the fall of 2007. Salters has been nominated for 2008's Sports Emmy Award for the report "Ray Of Hope". Salters' reports are frequently included in ESPN's award-winning "Outside the Lines." series. From December 2000 until January 2001, she served as the chief reporter of ESPN for the extensive coverage of the Rae Carruth murder conspiracy trial. Salters also covered the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea, Japan. She reported on the lineup for the U.S. National Team one day prior to the game against Portugal. Salters was also a reporter for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens (Greece) and was the anchor of ESPN's coverage of the 2006 Winter Olympics Games, Torino (Italy).
