Lisa Salters

 Salters started her career as a journalist for broadcast before she became a sportscaster. Salters was the ABC affiliate's first West Coast correspondent in 1995. She reported on a variety of important stories, including the O.J. She also covered the Simpson civil and criminal trials as well as the Oklahoma City bombing trial, the 1998 Winter Olympics, Nagano, Japan and the TWA flight 800 crash for the network. In the year 2000, ESPN approached her about an assignment on a general basis. She made the decision to shift to sports journalism after she was appointed by ESPN in March of 2000. As a sideline reporter , she is co-producer of Monday Night Football, and as the primary sideline journalist for ESPN's coverage of the NBA on ABC She is also in charge of Monday Night Football. Salters is also a regular in ESPN's newsmagazine E:60. Salters debuted in October 2007. In connection with her piece "Ray Of Hope" she was awarded an Sports Emmy Award nomination in 2008.
