Mandie Taketa

 Mandie Adell Taketa is an American actress as well as fitness model, yoga instructor, as well as a martial artist. She was the ex-wife of comedian and actor Wayne Brady. Born in Hawaii, Taketa was trained in martial arts by her father and at a very young age, had been competing and judging martial arts tournaments. She also was interested in dancing and ultimately received a full dance scholarship from the University of Hawaii. However, she decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in acting and dancing. Her acting debut came in 2007 with the comedy film "ManBand!" The Movie. Brady was married to Taketa in April 1999. They have a daughter that was born in February of 2003. They decided to raise their daughter in a family following their divorce in April 2008. They eventually moved into Brady's neighbourhood. Taketa isn't a social media user. She has an Instagram account, where she occasionally posts.
