Martyn Ford was born in Staffordshire, England to parents Lorraine and Stephen. He was very athletic as a child and involved in sporting activities like cricket, in which he excelled and hoped to make it his career. However young Martyn incurred injuries that made him lose interest and enthusiasm for the sport. manytimes, it's hard to compete at a high quality after a similar experience. In addition the athlete was diagnosed with glandular fever and infectious mononucleosis, and was unable to engage in vigorous sports for a time which slowed the development of his athletic abilities.
