Anderson Cooper

 Anderson Hays Cooper, born June 3, 1967 [1Anderson Hays Cooper] is an American broadcast journalist who also acts as a political commentator. He hails from Vanderbilt. Anderson Cooper 360deg is his primary news anchor. Alongside his duties with CNN, Cooper serves as the correspondent for 60 Minutes on CBS News. Cooper graduated from Yale University in 1989 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts. Cooper began his journeys all over the world, filming footage of war-ravaged regions in the name of Channel One News. Cooper was hired by ABC News as a correspondent in 1995. However, he quickly took on more roles across the network, including a short time as a co-anchor, reality game show host, and an extra morning talk show host.In 2001, Cooper joined CNN, which gave him his own show, Anderson Cooper 360deg, in 2003; he is the show's host since. Cooper earned a name as a journalist who could report on the facts of events in the news. His coverage of the devastating hurricane Katrina was the most notable of his popularity. Cooper was recognized with the National Order of Honour and Merit for his coverage of Haiti's 2010 earthquake. It is the highest honor that is bestowed by the Haitian government. From September 2011 to May 2013, he was host of his own syndicated daytime talk show, Anderson Live.
