American actress and singer Rebbeca Marie Gómez is more commonly known by her stage name of Becky G. Gomez received her first fame after she uploaded videos online of her singing songs. Dr. Luke noticed one of her videos and suggested she sign an album deal with Kemosabe Records as well as RCA Records. In the process of putting together her debut record, Gomez collaborated with artists will.i.am, Cody Simpson and Cher Lloyd. The debut single, "Becky from the Block" was a hit upon its release. Her debut extended track, Play It Again (2013) in the same year. The second single, "Can’t Get Enough" came out later in the year. The track featured Pitbull's guest vocals. "Shower," (2014) also enjoyed mainstream success and reached the top twenty spots on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The single went on to earn the multi platinum award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) that signifies two million units sold in the United States.
