Beyoncé

Beyonce is a multi-faceted pop star. She rose to prominence in the late 1990s as the main member of pop-R&B band Destiny's Child. The following decade saw her embark on a multiplatinum solo career with Dangerously in Love (2003). This was her first album that was solely for her that was followed by a string unbroken top-of-the-line pop singles. Beyonce's chart-topping songs, such as "Crazy in Love", "Irreplaceable" (2006) and "Single Ladies [Put A Ring on It] (2008) and sold-out world tours, Grammy Awards and sold-out performances, helped increase her popularity during the decade of 2000. Billboard named her the most popular female artist of the decade. The RIAA acknowledged that she was the decade’s best-selling artist with 64 gold and platinum certifications. The self-titled album of Beyonce (2013) showed that she wasn't just an acclaimed songwriter, singer and dancer, but also an innovator in the field of art. This notion has been reinforced through her follow-up visual album Lemonade (2016) and the Jay-Z collaboration Everything Is Love (2018), and her work on The Lion King (2019). Beyonce expanded the latter project with the executive production of the soundtrack The Lion King: The Gift and also wrote and directed the musical film Black Is King (2020). With the Top 20 hit "Break My Soul", Beyonce launched her seventh studio album Renaissance (2022).
