In 1995, Tucker appeared in one of his most acclaimed and entertaining films, Friday (1995), alongside Ice Cube. Tucker's character Smokey was drug addict and an outrageous character. Films like Friday (1995) showcased Tucker's TV-comedy appearance was different from his stand-up. Tucker was also featured in Dead Presidents (1995), another film released in 1995.
