Colleen Celeste Camp (born July 7 1953) is an American actor and producer. After appearing in various small roles, she played an important role in the comedy The Swinging Cheerleaders (1974) and was then cast in two seasons of the Police Academy series. Camp played support roles in Death Game (1977), Apocalypse Now (1979), and The Seduction (1982), in which she played Julie's mother in Valley Girl and Yvette the Maid in the 1985 comedy Clue. [2]Camp continues to play minor supporting roles in a range of studio and independent films, including Election (1999), Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), Election (2013), Palo Alto (2013) and American Hustle (2013). Camp was born in San Francisco. She has two brothers, Don and Glen. She was a teenager at the time she moved to San Fernando Valley. She attended John H. Francis Polytechnic High School and Los Angeles Valley College. California State University, Northridge is where she studied English with a minor in theater arts.
