Evangeline Lilly

 Evangeline Lilly is a Canadian author and actor from Canada. Her most notable role is that of "Kate Austen" in the TV show 'Lost'. Lilly was the lead female character. She won the 'Screen Actors Guild Award, for her performance in the series. In addition, she appeared in films such as "The Hurt Locker", "Real Steel" as well as "The Hobbit". Lilly is among the few actors in Hollywood who had no idea of becoming an actor. Born into a family that was devoted Christians, Lilly was interested in charity, and humanitarian activities from her early years. As a teenager Lilly was involved in a mission trip to the Philippines. Her entry into modelling and acting was made possible through an unintentional discovery made by a modeling agency. She embraced the modeling jobas a way to earn funds for her college studies. Although she has won many awards for her work, Lilly insists that stardom was not the best choice for her. She is also a prolific read, and writer. Lilly is the author of the children's book 'The Squickerwonkers.' She is active in various NGO's and is working towards a career in acting. Lilly will appear in the upcoming movie 'Avengers made by Marvel Studios.
