Gabrielle Union

 Gabrielle Union was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 29, 1972 , to Theresa (Glass), a manager of a telephone company, and Sylvester E. Union (a military sergeantand business executive) Her family moved to Pleasanton in California at the age of eight years old. She went to the high school there. Union was an all-star basketball player as well as a track and field athlete. She graduated from Foothill High School (Class of 1991).After high school, Gabrielle attended college at University of Nebraska, where she played on the soccer team and then later transferred to Cuesta College. Eventually, she ended up at UCLA. It was her intention to be a working-class girl when she began her senior year and began her way to law school. Gabrielle was a student intern at a university in Los Angeles.
