Hunter McGrady, an American-sized model and a proponent of a healthy body image is dubbed the "curviest" model to have ever appeared in a Sports Illustrated issue. She was featured in the 2017 Swimsuit Edition. While she wasn't awarded, she was part of the magazine’s 'Swimsuit model search'. Her debut came as a rookie on the 2018 swimsuit issue. This was part the project "In Her Own Words" which let her activist side to express herself and write on body words that mattered to her. She is currently signed with Wilhelmina Models Curve Division, Los Angeles, and New York. She has also been a model for Lucky Brand, Bare Necessities and Lane Bryant. Melissa McCarthy's clothing line, Seven7, has had her as its model. Ashley Graham's swimsuits for all photoshoot was also done. In September 2017 she walked on the New York Fashion Week ramp. She's interested in creating her own clothing and cosmetics line in the future.
