Amethyst Amelia, aka as Iggy Azalea is an Australian rapper, singer and writer. She is the first female rapper who was not American to top the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. An avid fan of hip-hop music her move to America where she was born, which is the home of the genre, to pursue her music career. The music videos she made for 'Pu$$y" and "Two Times were a hit on YouTube. While her debut mixtape 'Ignorant Art' earned her recognition, her debut studio album 'The Classic' helped her gain more attention. Her chart-topping singles include 'Fancy' "Work, Black Widow, 'Team,' and 'Change Your Life.' She has collaborated with many popular artists like Rita Ora, Tyga, Beyonce and T.I. She holds the record for having the highest two positions in the Billboard Hot 100 charts. She has also been a model for large brands and appeared in the film 'Furious 7'. After being in a three-year affair with Nick Young, a pro basketball player, she broke off the relationship. She started her own production company in 2016, 'Azalea street Productions.
