January Jones

 January Jones was born on January 5 1978 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She is the daughter of Karen Sue (nee Cox) who is a store for sporting goods manager, as well as Marvin Roger Jones, a fitness instructor and gym instructor. She is of Czech, Danish, English, Welsh, and German ancestry. Named after January Wayne, Jacqueline Susann’s potboiler film and novel Once Is Not Enough (1975) She was born. She has two sisters, Jacey Jones and Jina Jones].Her family moved to the town of Hecla, South Dakota, which had a population of about 400 people in 1979, when she was just one year old. They returned to Sioux Falls in 1986. After finishing her education at Roosevelt High School, she went to New York City to become an actress. Despite her size (5'6", which is not a tall stature for model) she was able to secure modeling positions, which included Abercrombie & Fitch advertisements. The goal of modeling was not to be a model. She wanted to escape South Dakota and stay out of college.
