Jeanne Crain, an American actress, brought a breath of fresh air into the studios of "20th Century Fox" with her beautiful natural beauty. Fox had her cast in 23 films, and she collaborated with a variety of other actors. Crain was a part of sixty-four films. A beautiful brunette, she was modest and was a charming presence to all who came across her. She was a typical "20th Century Fox' girl that had a less impressive list of stars than other major studios. Jeanne was a busy actress for Fox and was able to make on average of two breezy and bright films each year to them. Fox occasionally deemed her lack of gravity to play serious roles, which resulted in her being substituted by Jean Simmons and Susan Hayward. Despite this, she starred in some of the biggest hits during the 1940s and 1950s. Her appeal prompted servicemen to remember their high-school love-birds or sister. She was just behind June Allyson in popularity and was awarded an Oscar nomination for the film "Pinky". In reality she was a normal woman who had to be away from her acting schedules to look after the seven kids she had.
