Jim Nantz is a three-time Emmy Award nominee and five-time National Sportscaster of the year. He joined CBS Television Network in 1985. He currently is the primary announcer of play-by-play games for THE NFL on CBS as well as the Super Bowl and Thursday Night Football games. He is also the primary anchor for CBS's golf coverage, which includes the PGA Tour, Masters and the PGA Championship; and lead announcer of the college basketball play-by-play, including the NCAA Men's Final Four. In 2007, 2010, and 2013, Nantz achieved a unique broadcasting triple, becoming the first broadcaster in the history of broadcasting the Super Bowl, NCAA Men's Final Four and the Masters, all simultaneously in one year. Nantz will repeat this trifecta in 2016.In August of 2011, Nantz received the Pro Football Hall of Fame Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award. This award is his youngest ever. Nantz was also recognized in 2002 by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame with the Curt Gowdy media award. Nantz joins Dick Enberg and Curt Gowdy as the only broadcasters to receive both Pro Football and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame honors.
