Jo Koy

 Jo Koy is today a famous stand-up comedian. His humble beginnings at the Las Vegas coffee shop are a distant memory. The comedian draws inspiration from his family, particularly his son. He has sold out arenas and theaters all over all over the world. In 2017, Koy recorded a record at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall, Honolulu, for the sale of 11 shows and more than 23,000 tickets. In response, the office of the mayor in Honolulu declared the 24th of November as "Jo Koy Day." The comedian continued his streak of breaking records when he sold six shows at The Warfield, San Francisco. With four sold-out shows, he then broke Club Regent Event Centre's attendance record in Winnipeg. Koy sold out 5 shows at the San Diego Civic Theatre in 2019 - the longest consecutive run of sold-out comedy shows ever by comedians. Koy was the first comedian to sell more than 17,000 tickets to the San Diego Civic Theater and was awarded the highly coveted "Stand Up Comedian of the Year" award at Montreal's 2018 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He has performed on Comedy Central and Netflix for four of his most popular and successful special
