Jordana Brewster, a beautiful blonde with raven hair, was born in Panama City on April 26 in 1980. Maria Joao Leal de Sousa (brazilian-born model) was her mother. She appeared on Sports Illustrated's cover in 1978. Her father, Alden Brewster, is an investment banker from America who is of English, Scottish, and Irish roots. Her maternal grandfather, Mayflower descendant Kingman Brewster, Jr., was president of Yale University from 1963 to 1977. Jordana was born in London, England up until the age of six. At that point her family decided to move to her mother's home town of Rio de Janeiro. Here, they would stay for the next four years. Jordana learned how to speak fluent Portuguese during her four-year stay in Rio de Janeiro. At the age of 10 Jordana's family decided to move again, only this time, they'd move to Manhattan. Jordana was a student at Sacred Heart Catholic School, an all-girl Catholic school. She then moved on to the New York Professional Children's School. In her teens, it was at this point when Jordana began to establish a name for herself by appearing in two of the longest-running daytime television soap operas.
