Julie Newmar

 Julie Newmar (born Julia Chalene Newmeyer, August 16, 1933) is an American actress, dancer and performer, who is known for her various stage screen, screen, and television roles. She also writes, designer of lingerie and real-estate mogul. For her performance in the role of Katrin Sveg, she received the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in the same Play. She also reprised the part in The Marriage-Go-Round in 1961. She appeared in two seasons of Batman (1966-1967) in the role of Catwoman in the 1960s. Other stage credits include the Ziegfeld Follies in 1956, Lola in Damn Yankees! In 1961, Irma la Douce (1965) in regional productions. Newmar also appeared in the music video of George Michael's single from 1992, "Too Funky", as well as a guest actor in the film of 1995 To Wong Foo: Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. Her voice-over work is featured in the animated feature films Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders (2016) and Batman vs. Two-Face (2017), where she reprised her character in the role of Catwoman 50 years after the first television series.
