Lewis Hamilton

 Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton, a British racing driver, is racing in Formula One for Mercedes AMG Pretronas Formula One Team. In Formula One, Hamilton has achieved a record seven World Drivers' Championship titles (tied with Michael Schumacher), and holds the record for the most wins (103) and pole positions (103) and podium finishes (184), among others. Hamilton is the only black driver in Formula One history. He was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire and joined McLaren's Young Driver program in 1998. Hamilton became the first and sole racer of black skin to participate in Formula One from 2007 to 2012. Hamilton was second by one point to Kimi Raikkonen in his debut season. Hamilton took his first championship the following year in dramatic fashion. Hamilton completed a crucial overtake in the final race, making Hamilton the youngest Formula One World Champion. Hamilton was signed by Mercedes after six years with McLaren.
