Lewis Hamilton

 Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton, a British racing driver, is a participant in Formula One for Mercedes AMG Pretronas Formula One Team. Hamilton, who is World Drivers' Champion has won seven championships in Formula One (tied with Michael Schumacher). Hamilton also holds record for the winning the most races (103) and pole positions (103) and podium places (184) in addition to other records. Hamilton is the sole black driver to win a race in Formula One history.Born and raised in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, Hamilton became a participant in the McLaren young driver program in 1998. This resulted in the possibility of a Formula One drive with McLaren from 2007 to 2012 which made Hamilton the first, and until now, the only black driver to race in the series. In his debut season, Hamilton set numerous records when he was runner-up to Kimi Raikkonen, by just one point. The following season, he won his maiden title in a dramatic manner, making an essential overtake in the final lap of the last race of the season to become the the youngest Formula One World Champion in history. Hamilton joined Mercedes after six years at McLaren.
