David Beckham is a British icon and is also a global brand. From 2000 to 2009, he served as the English national team captain. Beckham also participated in three FIFA World Cups. In addition to playing in the midfield for clubs in Manchester and Madrid, Spain and Milan, Italy, he won the MLS Cup in 2011. In 2012, he was born to Sandra Georgina West, a hairdresser, and David Edward Alan "Ted” Beckham who is a chef. Beckham's grandfather was Jewish Beckham's grandfather was Jewish, and David has cited the Jewish faith as a factor in his life and he has tattoos which is in Hebrew from the 'Song of Songs' from the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) although he isn't known to practice Judaism or any other faith.
