Lil Boosie

 Lil Boosie was born Torrence Hatch in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on November 14, 1983, he was bestowed the nickname Boosie by his family and was raised on W. Garfield St. in a ghetto within the slums of south-side Baton Rouge (SSB).Growing up, Boosie was a tough guy due to the many difficult experiences he was put through. The neighborhood he lived in, known for drugs and violence, was a place of fear for the general population. To the outsiders, it was a jungle but to the residents, it was a way of life. Boosie was very active in basketball to avoid the streets, and was even expected to move on to college basketball.At 14 years old, Boosie moved in to live with his mother after his father's death due to drugs. Growing up with no father figure or steady hand to guide him, Boosie turned to drugs and criminality. Boosie was expelled from school and began freestyling to follow his love of music. Being in the 225 area, Boosie had no contacts, no real means of exposure. Lil Boosie teamed up with Baton Rouge rapper C-Loc in the latter part of 1990 and was first introduced on C-Loc's fifth album,
