Lil Durk

 Lil Durk, one of Chicago's rising American Rappers is Lil Durk. He was born as Durk Banks, and later took on the stage name Lil Durk. He began to show interest in music from a young age and self-released his early mix tapes through his own OTF (Only the Family) label. After his initial success, he started thinking about music as a full-time career option starting from the early 2010. In the following year, he signed with the record label Def Jam Recordings and is currently rated as the top rapper who has been signed with this prestigious label. The squalid neighborhood in which the rapper was born and brought up was a traumatic experience on his family. His father was sentenced to life in prison in 1994, for drug-related offenses. He also faced financial struggles as a kid. The majority of his early releases were affected by Chicago's street violence.
