Lynda Carter is an American actor, singer and music producer. She also won the title of Miss World America and is most well-known for her character in the TV series 'Wonder Woman'. Her first appearance on television was as an artist for children. She joined the band "Just Us" in high school. She was part of another group called 'The Family' with two of her cousins. Lynda went to Arizona State University and dropped out to pursue a career in music. She entered a local beauty pageant and later went on to win the title of Miss World America. She began her career on television by making guest appearances in the shows such as "Starsky & Hutch," and was recognized by the television series 'Wonder Woman'. She released her debut album 'Portrait' where she co-wrote numerous songs. Carter was also featured in numerous films. She began her career in film alongside Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw. She has been married twice and she has two children with Robert A. Altman, her lawyer. Carter was once named 'The Most Beautiful woman in the World' by the British Press Organization and the International Academy of Beauty.
