Mike Wolfe, creator and star of the History Channel's popular television show "American Pickers," has become famous by governing the world of "picking," a place where treasures are mined in old barns, crumbling warehouses, and dilapidated sheds that are found along America's back roads as well as main roads. He's a prominent voice for interiors and collectors. His personal empire includes books, retail stores as well as product lines and endorsement deals. Mike is also the show's executive producer.Before beginning his journey to Hollywood, Mike made his name as a professional treasure hunter, travelling across the country in search of what he describes as "rusty gold" to buy and sell in one of his two Antique Archaeology stores.
