Morena Baccarin

 Morena Baccarin was the daughter of actress Vera Setta, and Fernando Baccarin who was journalist. Ivan Setta was her uncle. She is both of Italian and Lebanese heritage, as well as Brazilian and Portuguese. She moved to New York at the age of ten years old, after her father was moved to the city. She attended the LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts as well as the Juilliard School.Staying in New York she, worked in the theater , particularly in the Central Park production of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull" where she was also Natalie Portman's understudy and was in a variety of films. After playing Roger Dodger in Roger Dodger 2002 her move to Los Angeles to meet Joss Whedon. She was cast in the short-lived sci-fi series Firefly (2002). Since then, she's rarely been seen off the screen.
