Mossimo Giannulli (born Massimo Giannulli[citation required] on June 4, 1963[citation requiredMossimo Giannulli (born June 4, 1963[citation required]) is an American fashion designer who established Mossimo the company, a mid-priced clothing company, in 1986. Giannulli was detained and indicted on March 19, 2019 in connection with the college admissions corruption scandal. Both were able to agree to plead guilty to the charges and were sentenced for jail for a period of time and fines in August 2020. Giannulli received a prison term from November 2020 to April 2021. His wife was sentenced to a two-month jail sentence, from October 2020 until December 2020Giannulli was born Massimo Giannulli on June 4 1963 in Los Angeles to parents of Italian descent, Gene, an architect as well as Nancy Giannulli, a homemaker. The place of birth was Encino, California. He changed his first name from Encino to Mossimo in the first grade at the suggestion of a teacher. It was easier to pronounce.
