Nik Dodani is an Indian-American actor comedian, activist, and actor based in Los Angeles.Dodani is set to appear on Atypical which is a brand new Netflix original comedy series created by Robia Rashid. He is well-known for his roles on Freeform's Kevin From Work and the NBC show The Player, as well as his performance in Joshua Leonard's forthcoming independent film Behold My Heart, opposite Marisa Tomei Timothy Olyphant, Charlie Plummer and Sakina Jaffrey. Dodani performs stand-up comedy throughout the United States. His sets have been featured in a variety of media outlets which include BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post and Colorlines. He is also well-known for his role in Joshua Leonard's upcoming independent film Behold My Heart which features Marisa Thomasei, Timothy Olyphant and Charlie Plummer, and Sakina Jaffrey. Dodani has previously been consultant to RALLY, an issue advocacy firm based in Hollywood. He also worked as an artist, graphic designer, student organizer and graphic designer for Elizabeth Warren's 2012 Senate campaign. BuzzFeed named Dodani one of the "14 Indians who are revolutionizing India's fight for the Rights of LGBT People". The Advocate Magazine named Dodani one of the "21 out actors of Color Hollywood Must Cast as Leading Men" in 2016.
