Nik Dodani is an Indian-American actor comedian, activist, and actor who is based in Los Angeles.Dodani is set to appear on Atypical, a brand-new Netflix original comedy series developed by Robia Rashid. His appearances on Freeform's Kevin from Work and NBC’s The Player are well-known. He is also a part of Joshua Leonard's upcoming independent movie, Behold My Heart. The film stars Marisa Tomei and Charlie Plummer. Dodani is a stand-up comedian who performs across the United States. His sets are featured in various media outlets which include BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post and Colorlines. Additionally, he is well-known for his role in Joshua Leonard's forthcoming independent film Behold My Heart which stars Marisa Tomei, Timothy Olyphant, Charlie Plummer, and Sakina Jaffrey. He previously worked as consultant for RALLY which is an advocacy firm that is based in Hollywood and also as an artist and student organizer on Elizabeth Warren's 2012 Senate campaign. BuzzFeed listed Dodani as among the "14 people who are redefining India's fight for LGBT Rights". In 2016 The Advocate Magazine listed Dodani as one of "21 out actors of Color Hollywood Must Cast as Lead Men"
