Nik Dodani, an Indian-American comedian and actor is based out of Los Angeles. He will shortly be appearing on Atypical which is a Netflix original comedy show which Robia Rashid developed. He is well-known for his roles on Freeform's Kevin From Work and NBC's The Player, as well as for his role in Joshua Leonard's upcoming independent film Behold My Heart, opposite Marisa Tomei Timothy Olyphant, Charlie Plummer as well as Sakina Jaffrey. Dodani is a stand-up comedian who performs throughout the United States. His sets have been featured in a variety of media outlets which include BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post and Colorlines. Also, he's known for his roles in Joshua Leonard's upcoming independent film Behold My Heart which stars Marisa Tomei, Timothy Olyphant, Charlie Plummer and Sakina Jaffrey. Dodani previously worked as a consultant for RALLY the issue advocacy organization based out of Hollywood. He also served as a graphic designer, student organizer and graphic designer for Elizabeth Warren's 2012 Senate campaign. He was a student at the Occidental College.In 2015, BuzzFeed described Dodani as one of "14 people Revolutionising India's fight For LGBT Rights". The Advocate Magazine named Dodani one of the "21 LGBT actors Of Color Hollywood Should Cast As Leading Men" in the year 2016.
