Rainn Dietrich Wilson, an American actor in movies and television writer, director and actor who is also a producer. He made a name for himself in 2005 thanks to his stunning portrayal of 'Dwight's Schrute' in the US version of the cult British sitcom The Office.' Before becoming famous, he struggled for an entire decade without a platform to showcase his talents. Then, he was offered small part-time roles in television shows such as "Six Feet under, 'Law & Order', CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and 'Entourage' among others. He was also seen in films like 'House of 1000 Corpses' 'Almost Famous America's Sweethearts' and many more. Wilson was finally acknowledged for his unique style of acting and unique screen presence. He directed three episodes on 'The Office', the sixth season's 'The Cover-Up and the seventh season's 'Classy Christmas and the 8th season Get the Girl'. Wilson was then given more opportunities to show off his talents with projects such as 'The Rocker', 'Monsters and. Aliens' and 'Bonzai Shadowhands', etc. Then, he was selected to be a part of the Fox crime drama 'Backstrom' where He played the role of the lead of 'Everett Backstrom.
