Reba McEntire

 Reba Nell McEntire was born on March 28, 1955 in McAlester, Oklahoma. The reigning queen of country music has been pursuing a musical career from the age of 5. She performed at Junior High School along with her musical siblings, the Singing McEntires. A fine athlete, Reba McEntire followed in the tradition of her rodeo-winning father, who competed in barrel racing. Red Steagall, a songwriter observed her performance of "Star Spangled Banner" during the 1974 National Finals Rodeo Oklahoma City.
