Rihanna

 She was born in St. Michael, Barbados on February 20, 1988. She was a student at Charles F. Broome Memorial Primary School and Combermere Secondary School and also took classes with future West Indies cricketer Kraigg Brthwaite and Chris Jordan. Shontelle, a singer-songwriter and Army cadet, was her drill sergeant. Although she initially wanted to finish high school, she decided to pursue a musical career instead.She relocated to the US in the early 2000s and signed to Jay Z's Def Jam label, releasing two studio albums Music of the Sun and A Girl Like Me, both of which charted in the Top 10 of the US Billboard 200 Album Charts however it was when she released the third album of hers Good Girl Gone Bad that she became a worldwide sensation due to the album's lead track "Umbrella". She has eight studio albums to her credit and has sold over 200 million records.
