Sean Connery

 Sean Connery, a tall muscular and attractive actor from Scotland, is most famous for his portrayal of James Bond, the first actor to portray the role in the hugely successful film franchise. Connery was the lead actor in seven films from 1962 to 1983. Many believed that a career-defining role would leave him unable to escape the role, but he proved the doubters wrong, and became one of the most famous film actors of his generation, with a host of excellent films to his credit. It was a sure sign that he would receive the most significant accolade he received in 1988, when Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as an Irish cop in The Untouchables (1987), taking the spotlight away from the film's main star Kevin Costner. Connery was awarded the title of "The Greatest Living Scot" and "Scotland’s Greatest Living National Treasure". In 1989, he received the title of "Sexiest Man Alive" by People magazine, and in 1999, at age 69 Connery was named "Sexiest man of the Century.
