Joseph Adam Jonas, popularly called Joe Jonas, is a popular actor and singer who rose to fame as a member of the pop-rock group Jonas Brothers. The actor is also famous for his role in a few original movies and television shows on the Disney Channel. Together with his brothers Paul Kevin Jonas II and Nicholas "Nick" Jerry Jonas, he formed the Jonas Brothers band in 2005. After some success through their music and television, they were made famous through some of their appearances on the Disney Channel TV Network. They were featured in Camp Rock, a Disney Channel Original Movie in 2008 and its sequel Camp Rock 2. The band is also famous for their charitable activities. They donated 10 percent of their estimated $12 million in earnings to the Change for the Children Foundation in 2007. They have been awarded many prestigious awards like the American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards. Joe Jonas also released a solo album, named Fastlife in the year 2011. It was an average commercial success. Though it stood at number 15 on the US Billboard 200 in its debut week, it soon fell off the chart. After the breakup of the Jonas Brothers in the 2010s, Joe formed a new group dubbed DNCE, which released its debut single Cake by the Ocean in the year 2015. The Jonas Brothers returned in 2019 with their fifth studio album, Happiness Begin. It was a top hit on the US Billboard 200.
