Susan Ker Weld was born on the 27th of August 1943 (Friday) in New York City. Three years after her birth, her father Lathrop Motley died at 49. The adorable little girl who's name was changed to "Tuesday" was able to assume the role as family breadwinner. She became a renowned child model, posing for advertisements and mail-order catalogs. Her work and the burden of responsibility estranged her from her mother Aileen, her two elder siblings, and pushed the young girl into adulthood. She experienced a breakdown of her nervous system at the age of nine and began drinking heavily at the age of ten. A year later, she was having relationships with men that led to her suicide attempt at twelve. In 1956 she debuted in the low-budget exploitation movie Rock Rock Rock! (1956) and decided to become an actress. After many TV appearances in New York she went to Hollywood in 1958 and was cast for Rally 'Round the Flag, Boys! (1958) an important breakthrough for her. Over the next few years Tuesday became the Hollywood's princess of teens acting, primarily precocious sex kittens.
