Patti LaBelle, a Grammy-winning actor, author and singer is a household name in the world of entertainment. Through her long career in the music fraternity, she gave numerous hits as a vocalist for the band, Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles and also in her solo singing. LaBelle as well as many other talented singers and musicians, was not able to get off to a smooth start. Her career had poor beginnings, as many of her albums and tracks failed to please both the general public and critics. The song "Lady Marmalade" was the one that made her a classic artist. The track reached top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. After a long period of involvement in a group, she disbanded to start her solo career in 1977. She released a number of albums, all of which showcased her incredible talents and talents, and also recorded her total sales of more than 50 million records. She was inducted into several Halls of Fame for her amazing musical abilities and skills, including the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
