The latest episode of Oxygen's Snapped, which airs on October 30, 2022, is about the story of Sherra Wright-Robinson and her husband, the famous NBA star Lorenzen Wright, whose death shook the sports world around.The investigation began in 2010 when the former NBA star was shot to death in a wooded area of Memphis, Tennessee while visiting his ex-wife and their children. The case was quite high-profile however, it took authorities a long time before they could identify the real killer.Wright's body was discovered after his ex-wife, Sherra Wright-Robinson, approached the police about the disappearance of her then-husband. She was interrogated when the body was discovered and was later cleared of any suspicionAfter more investigation, authorities eventually tracked the weapon of murder to Billy Ray Turner and subsequently to Sherra Wright-Robinson. allegedly murdered the NBA star due to greed and personal benefits.She was able to agree to plea bargain after being arrested and sentenced to 30 years of prison. Sherra Wright-Robinson is currently incarcerated in the Tennessee Prison for Women, which she will remain in until at least 2026.
