The Order Season 1 is a young adult fantasy/horror series available on Netflix. Dennis Heaton created the series and the show's main characters are Jake Manley, Sarah Grey, Louriza Tronco, Max Martini, Matt Frewer and Max Martini. Manley plays Jack Morton. Jack is enrolled at Belgrave University, a college which is managed by a secret, cult-like group of magicians known as The Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose (mostly known as the Order). Through a series of impossible trials, Jack attempts to become an acolyte of the Order under the guidance of his mentor Alyssa Drake, who is played by Gray. Jack must fight spellcasters and werewolves when they start appearing on the campus. The plot is pretty captivating in its initial idea but I'm not convinced it's fully realized in the first season. The episodes are like chapters , not individual episodes. They are slow and slow. One episode will focus on a specific task, such as learning magic or being initiated. But, the pace of the show is longer than half the show. The viewers may have become tired by this time. The second part of the season begins and is more interesting with some surprises I didn't anticipate. Episode 6 is the moment when the show begins to show signs of potential and is the beginning of the truly attractive aspects of the show. It introduces intrigue and action however, it's also the first time we witness a truly frightening and frightening scene. It's a bit difficult to believe that this scene takes too long.
