New Delhi: Amid all the boos that showered down at Justin Gatlin, who pulled off a stunner at the Olympic Stadium in London, on Sunday, the 35-year old American sprinter, who was walking towards Usain Bolt and knelt in tears, and paid tribute to the 'fastest man on earth'.It was a day that should have belonged to Bolt. The four-time world 100m champion Gatlin, was in London to defend his title. It was his last 100m race of his career , and 55900 pairs of eyes stayed focused on the Jamaican. It was a disappointing conclusion for Gatlin who concluded his career with an Olympic bronze medal. Gatlin was forced to the sidelines twice before due to doping. Gatlin isn't a well-known athlete or sportsperson. The day before, Bolt was beaten by Bolt in what could have been a perfect farewell. However, Gatlin continued walking toward Bolt and knelt down to express his appreciation. The image went popular on all social media sites. Bolt quickly gave him hug and whispered words of congratulation towards his ears.
