Alex Meneses

Meneses was born Chicago, Illinois. She is of Mexican descent from her father's side and Ukrainian descent her mother's. Meneses was a summer student at Chicago's The Second City Improvisational Theater. Following her graduation of high school, she got an modeling contract with Milan, Italy. At first, her time in Italy was only to be 3 months. However, she was in love with Italy, and remained there for two years before becoming a model who was successful. Meneses relocated to Los Angeles after she returned to the United States. She studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Institute. In 1995, Meneses was part of the cast of the Showtime comedy series Sherman Oaks. Later she was cast in the role of Teresa Morales, the role which replaced Michelle Bonilla in the last season of CBS Western drama Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. Additionally, she played parts in supporting roles in a range of films, including Selena, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas and Auto Focus.
