Amanda Drury

 Amanda Drury (born 5 May 1973 (citation required)) is an Australian journalist and anchor for news for CNBC hosting business and finance programming in New York City. She was co-host of the US version of Street Signs until its end on February 6, 2015 and has appeared on other different CNBC programs as an expert in finance and business.Drury was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. [citation needed] Drury graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts, Japanese and French at the University of Melbourne. She also went to the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. Drury began her career in Japan as an international relations specialist. She began her career in broadcasting in radio before making the switch to TV and working with Bloomberg in Tokyo from 1999 to 2000. She was hired by CNBC in January 2001, and worked for eight years in CNBC's Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore. In 2009, she was stationed at CNBC Sydney. She was then transferred to CNBC's global headquarters located in New Jersey in May 2010. Her first assignment at CNBC USA was as the co-anchored host of "The Call". Drury has also been a guest on various segments and shows on CNBC. In March of 2011, she was announced as co-presenter on The Call (US Version). She was also a finalist at the 2008 and 2007 Asian Television Awards in category of Best News Presenter.
