At first, the role of Clark was conceived as a supporting role. At first, Clark was intended to play a role of support. Her family was from Buford and Monroe in Georgia. She grew up of modest means, living in the trailer park. Her parents were believers in "strict discipline" that meant she was not permitted to watch Harry Potter because it had witches in it.She has two sisters: Rachel and Angel. McCord was home-schooled and graduated high school at the age of 15.
