Christine Ko

 Christine Ko, born August 3 1988, is a Taiwanese American actress. She is best known for her appearances on The Great Indoors and Mandy on Upload. Prior to her fame in America she also had a brief career in Taiwan in the early 2010s.Ko was born in Chicago and was raised in both Taiwan as well as Atlanta. Frankie Kao, a legendary Taiwanese entertainer, is her daughter. Ko has spoken out about the issues of Asian actors being given limited roles in the United States. Her role in The Great Indoors was originally scripted for a blonde woman however, Ko's agent was able to secure her an audition. The producers changed their initial conception of Emma's appearance following her audition. Ko declared, "I think that's true that diversity is a fact. Everyone is just like you. You're just Asian... It's the norm, and it's how we live. We haven't seen it in Hollywood yet. "Ko was added to the crew of the TV show Hawaii Five-0 part way into the eighth season. She also guest-starred on the HBO comedy series Ballers. She appears on the FXX series Dave alongside Dave BurdIn 2021. She played alongside Canadian singer Justin Bieber in the music video for his hit song "Hold on".
