Francia Raisa

Francia Raisa Almendarez (born July 26th, 1988) is an American actress. Raisa is well-known for her roles in Bring It On, All or Nothing, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Grown-ish. Raisa was born to Virginia Almendarez (nee Pelayo) and her Mexican mother, and Renan Almendarez Colello, a radio personality born of Honduran descent. A few years after Raisa was born, her father began using his new Latin radio show, "El Cucuy".Raisa attended Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, California, where she was an athletic cheerleader.Raisa started to pursue acting jobs during her junior year in high school, modeling for print ads and being featured in commercials. She guest-starred in the sitcoms American Family: Journey of Dreams and Over There. Raisa was featured in Lil' Romo's music videos "My Girlfriend" and "So Big" in 2004. In the midst of her senior year, she was cast in her first lead roles. She played Hayden Panettiere in Bring It On: Everything or Nothing. She was the lead character Isabel in Shredderman Rules on Nickelodeon, as well as Alexandra Delgado in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice. She played the role of Adrian Lee in the hit ABC Family drama, The Secret Life of the American Teenager starting in July 2008 to the finale of the show in June 2013.
