Marc Blucas, an American actor, is most well-known for his role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's main character. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Marc aimed at the sport of basketball throughout high school and college years. In the end, his inability to get into the National Basketball Association (NBA) had him pursuing law but when that was not a success for Marc He decided to try his hand at acting. The 1995 television film 'Inflammable was his first foray into acting. His background in basketball led to him playing a significant role in the 1998 movie "Pleasantville.' 1999 was the year of turning points in his life. He had the chance to appear in the major role of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The series was a major commercial and critical success, and made him an outstanding young actor. In the early 2000s the actor was offered important roles in two of the biggest films, specifically 'First Daughter' and 'We Were Soldiers.' He had already been offered leading roles in films such as The Killing Floor and Thr3e' by the end of 2000. His part in the TV series "Underground" brought him even more popularity in the mainstream.
