Matt Gutman is ABC News Chief National Correspondent, based in Los Angeles. Gutman has reported from more than forty countries for ABC News, including "World News Tonight with David Muir,"" "20/20," Good Morning America and "Nightline." Gutman's relentless reporting has helped "20/20" achieve an Emmy(r) for its documentary on the deadly 2017 Las Vegas massacre and a Christopher Award for its reporting on the Thai cave rescue. Gutman was there to follow the dangerous rescue of 12 Thai teenagers and their soccer coach from the cave in Thailand. His book "The Boys in the Cave" was published by Gutman. The book chronicled the courage of a group of cave diving misfits and the US Airforce.
