Daisy Ridley is an English actress, known for her work in TV and in the 2015 mega budget film Star Wars The Force Awakens'. She started her acting career by appearing in TV shows mostly as guest performances, however, her skills were sufficient to make her an established Hollywood popular in short periods of time. Her first roles were in 'Casualty as well as 'Youngers'. Later in 2014, she forayed into films through the indie horror film 'Scrawl' . during the same time, her short film "Blue Season" was entered into the Sci-Fi London 48 Hour film challenge. Her family was poor and attended Tring Park School of Performing Arts to learn acting. She graduated at the age of 18. After finishing the art school, her performance in Dominoes and The Boy Friend' captivated theater audiences. Daisy is a talented singer, primarily in Jazz music. She's also a proficient dancer. In 2016, she was able to lend her voice to an animated film.
